Fly away
Yet there was only a shell of herself left
Giving up the right to fly
To avoid the risk of falling
Walking on the safe road
Quieting the whirlpool inside
Ignoring the storm forming
Freedom was her essence
Without even looking for it, she found her twin flame
Yet she let herself be burned
Cold silence or hot jealousy, burning flames
The fire can only be contained by putting it out
Flying away from it, a possibility
Yet she was ignoring the wings she was born with
She got lost in her duality
She thought she had to choose
Between two different ways of repressing herself
But she found out she was a bird
Reborn, recreated, transmuted into a phoenix
The skies opened and shed the eternal light over her
Enlightening her into consciousness
I’m free, I’m free, I’m free
Fly away Phoenix bird
