Waking up, I look around Water is everywhere, I'm freezing cold Muffled sounds, salty taste in my mouth I realize I'm in the sea I'll drown... I panic Looking up, I see the sunlight I try to swim up, to float... in vain I try not to breathe, not to fill my lungs with water It burns... I'll drown... It hits me, there's no way out I know I'll die My life a movie before me I stop resisting What is beyond  life, beyond death I relax Giving up the fight, I trust it'll be faster That's when it happens Peace, calm, tranquility wash over me Eternity hits me, as I close my eyes As I let go, my chest burns, can't feel my legs The time has come, this is it I wait for the blackness The burning easies, I don't feel cold anymore Paying attention, I realize the sounds Clear, far away sounds A bigger fish swimming, a turtle nearby I smell a catfish, a skate, not so far away I open my eyes, the water is clear Somehow I'm bre...

I watch the waves I notice how they come and go They withdraw, only to come again With all their force and might They should be governed by the moon Yet the moon only influence them They're really almighty Their energy is everlasting They take and give, yet there's more More energy, never ending energy It never stops flowing And there's no where else I'd rather be Then here and now Watching my baby girl She plays with the waves Ignoring their might Ignoring their wholeness Just this piece of water Just this moment Just feeling the salt in her mouth And the chilly touch of the water Just enjoying the movement And the love of her mom Her full attention This is her heaven Nothing else is important She's the goddess' daughter right now And with her, I understand There's no where else I'd rather be There's no other life I'd rather live There's no other family I'd rather love Then the here and now Just this mom...
