Break the silence

I asked how to get rid of the pain
He answered just contemplate it
Pretend as if you are an outside observer to your own pain
I felt pain down in my stomach and sickness

 Just watch, he replied, watch the pain
Accept it, surrender to it
I felt an uneasiness and thought I would throw up
I can't take it anymore, I will break the silence

 Feel it, he insisted, feel the discomfort
Live the now, the present, it's the only real thing
I try to watch it as a silent watcher
I see it, I meet the pain body again

 Pain digger, there you are
I surrender to the feeling of pain and unease
I accept the reason I feel it, my soul is torn
I'm half the person I used to be

 But I decided it's necessary, something's gotta change
Either we belong together, or this was just an illusion
Either you give up fighting and surrender to me, or I surrender to the pain
Which one it's gonna be, it's in your hands to free me from this prison
